- Appointment details and the test, kit or request form you need
- Information needed to collect your sample safely, for example if you have fainted before
- Payment records (bank transfer, cash or card-reader payments)
- Basic website usage data collected through cookies and analytics
We only ask for the health information we need to carry out your visit, and we avoid asking for detailed medical information over WhatsApp.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To arrange and carry out your appointment and deliver your sample: to perform our contract with you

- To manage payments and accounts: legal obligation
- To answer enquiries and improve our website: our legitimate interests
We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
The laboratory or test provider processing your sample; your requesting clinician where applicable; and the services we use to run the business, including our booking system (SimplyBook.me), our card-reader provider, WhatsApp, email, our website host and Google analytics tools. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it

- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 12 months
How we protect it
Records are kept on password-protected devices and services that only Erythrocare can access.
